10 WAYS TO PREPARE FOR EXAMINATION

السلام عليكم

On March 12 until March 15, 2017, Maahad Tahfiz Al-Iman has conducted examination week to evaluate the performance of students in terms of tahfiz and academic education.  Therefore, we would like to share some tips to prepare for examination.

1-   Pray - We should always pray to Allah Taala to give us His Mercy. In addition, we can perform Solat Taubat and Solat Hajat to seek His Guidance.
2-   Calm Down - Panic will only make your situation worse. If you panic, take deep breaths and think that you can handle this.
3-   Quick Revision - Study the most important topics first. Review the notes and text books as well as focusing on the topics your teacher stressed repeatedly.
4-   Form a Study Group – You can find friends who are serious in their study and ask for helps. Avoid accepting those that will be of no help, and only distracting your whole group from studying.
5-  Ask for Teachers’ Help – If you are studying and happen to come across a part you cannot understand, write it down. Ask your teacher during class or during office hours.
6-   Make a Study Plan – Manage your time effectively to study all subjects before and during examination week. Remember this, ‘if you fail to plan, you plan to fail’.
7-  Practice Exam Papers – Get ready for the exams by practicing the sample questions and knowing what to expect during examination day.
8-   Eat Properly – Good nutrition is vital for optimal thinking.
9-   Get Enough Sleep – A good night’s sleep allows your mind and body to rest. Adequate sleep will help to stay healthy during examination week.
10-  Tawakkal – Put high effort to achieve our goals, and leave the results to Allah Taala because only He knows the best.
